Katie Rowley has won her legal fight over a lack of British Sign Language interpreters at Government coronavirus briefings after taking action against the Cabinet Office
A deaf woman who launched High Court action against the Government over a lack of British sign language interpreters at its Covid briefings in England has won her compensation fight.Ms Rowley said the Government has breached obligations to make broadcasts accessible to deaf people under equality legislation.
