A section of Deansgate in Manchester City Centre has been closed off due to a 'police incident' this morning .
Deansgate, in Manchester City Centre, has been closed off between Quay Street and St John Street. This is due to an 'ongoing police incident'. Transport for Greater Manchester posted at 5.40am this morning to notify people of the closure. People travelling into the city centre are being advised to plan a different route.In the post, TfGM said: "Deansgate, City Centre is closed between St Johns St and Quay Street. This is due to an ongoing police incident.Greater Manchester Police have been approached for more information.
