Ben Miller has been snapped filming in character as Professor Jasper Tempest, seemingly confirming the return of ITV crime drama Professor T for a third season.
's Frances de la Tour, who plays Adelaide, Jasper's overbearing mother.
While a release date is yet to be confirmed for season three, season two of the series premiered on ITV last September., saying that Professor Jasper and his mother attending therapy sessions together will"be fantastic"."He's such a sort of quirky character, and if anybody needs therapy, it's him. So yeah, I'm really, really looking forward to it," he said of the character.
Following this, Miller opened up about having big plans for the show past season 2, hinting at what's to come. "We've got lots planned for not just this series, but also — we hope — future series. Lots of exciting things are gonna happen to that character and to those characters," he said. "It's double bubble Professor T, because you get really, really great crime every week — really baffling crime — but you also have these fantastic longer stories about those characters, and they're all fascinating."
