'My nine-year-old daughter asks where Uncle Hiwa is every day'
As Joshua Boardman sat in the dock, awaiting his sentence for the murder of Hiwa Ali-Khan, there could be no mistaking the air of grief in the room.
Hiwa's murder was captured on CCTV which was shown in court. As footage of the victim falling to the floor was played, several family members broke down and wept. "He was altruistic and believed every person was a good person. He was very brave and never afraid of anyone because he could only see goodness in other people. He was murdered by a cruel killer without any guilt.
"She asks, 'why is your hair turning grey so suddenly?' I stay quiet. My wife and I moan and weep all the time.
