The whole festival was cancelled after Healy kissed bandmate on stage
Denise Welch has commented on her son Matty Healy's ban from performing in Malaysia after he shared a steamy kiss with bandmate Ross McDonald on stage.
Matty explained he "made a mistake" when he agreed to perform at the festival - which has now been cancelled - admitting that he "didn't look into it" when booking the show. He then shared an intimate kiss with bassist Ross McDonald prior to the group playing their song, I Like America & America Likes Me."All right, we gotta go," Matty said. "We just got banned from Kuala Lumpur, I'll see you later."
The rest of the festival was cancelled, which had The Strokes, The Kid Laroi and Ty Dolla $ign on the list of performers.
