Over 10,000 people have now visited the Derry Girls exhibit
The home of the new 'Derry Girls Experience' museum exhibit is celebrating after welcoming 10,000 visitors and winning a coveted 'Travellers' Choice' award from TripAdvisor.
The museum also includes a permanent exhibits on the history of the city, a Spanish Armada shipwreck, and regularly hosts exhibits on a range of interesting topics.The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council congratulated staff at the Tower Museum after they won the World Travellers’ Choice Award for 2023 from TripAdvisor, and welcomed 10,000 visitors to the Derry Girls Experience.
Mayor Patricia Logue said she was delighted to hear the news and wanted to say a huge well done to all those involved in reaching this milestone. "The Derry Girls Experience has proven to be incredibility popular and resonates strongly with all those visiting the city and district. It also works well alongside the Story of Derry and Armada Shipwreck exhibitions already on display in the Museum which offers a great choice for visitors and a must see for anyone planning a trip here.”
