Praise the Traveler, Destiny 2's mod grind is over — Bungie is unlocking all standard Armor Mods for everyone from today!
Destiny 2: Lightfall is promising"big changes coming to buildcrafting" when it arrives on February 28th, so for the last few months before the expansion hits, Bungie apparently wants to"give everyone a chance to enjoy all mods in their current state.
Having the hundreds of mods unlocked will be great for players, especially newcomers, who haven't been able to luck into ones they've been hunting down for specific builds, though. Even though you may also need specific gear to get a build going, at least you can readily farm for that rather than crossing your fingers each day for the daily mod inventory reset.
