An employee at Lidl was hit with the devastating news that she had eight weeks to live after she was sent home from work with a backache - which turned out to be cancer.
A doctor inspected her stomach and realised something was wrong, after running two sets of blood tests she was immediately rushed to hospital. Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Christine's son Ben Emery, 29, said: "Christine was also still working up until June 9. Christine's son described his mum as the sort of person that's always looking after others, running errands and driving people places every day.
