Rangers fan, Billy Lardner, was struck by a Honda Civic while walking home from work on June 30. The 16-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police and emergency services were called and a 25-year-old man was later arrested and charged.
The Daily Record reports, Franklin allegedly fled the scene near Bournemouth Airport, Christchurch, and discarded his clothing and mobile phone before tracked down by officers. "Twelve of Billy's school friends have ordered a Rangers top to wear with his name on the back and the number 16 to remember him."
