Dirty Dancing returns to Blackpool after hugely successful summer 2021 run
The stage version of 1987s hit film Dirty Dancing will return to Blackpool, in 2023. The UK tour of the musical will twirl, lift and leap into the Opera House at the Winter Gardens for a two-week run next autumn.
The production - Dirty Dancing, The Classic Story On Stage - will show in the seaside resort from Wednesday, September 27 to Saturday , October 7 2023. The stage show is inspired by the dance-focused movie starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. It will feature musical numbers including smash chart hits The Time of my life, Hungry Eyes, Hey Baby and She's Like the Wind and follow the story of fiery and spoilt rich kid Baby as she learns how to dance - and fall in love - while on holiday at a swanky resort with her family.
