Angry McDonald's customer says drive-thru Happy Meal rule is discrimination
Lynne has accused McDonald's of "discrimination" and said she has contacted McDonald's head office to make a complaint.
She said: "This is discrimination against disabled people as I couldn’t go into the store and was being penalised because of my disabilities." Lynne claims after following up with the franchise "several times" she was offered a £10 voucher, but to use it she must first spend £10. She added: "I emailed them saying that I was disgusted with them thinking that all I wanted was vouchers. I just think it’s so sad that people with disabilities are discriminated against and this needs to stop."
A spokesperson for McDonald's said: "We are aware of this customer’s complaint and our customer services team is working with both the customer and the restaurant to find a resolution.”We pay for your stories!
