AN INVESTIGATION will be launched after a"distressed" dog was found abandoned in the street overnight.
He was helped by members of the public on Monday morning, but it's believed he had been left there in the early hours.Glasgow City Council's dog warden arrived and took the"poor animal" to the Scottish SPCA's centre in Cardonald.“We will be investigating as to how this animal came to be in these circumstances.
bosses urged anyone not able to look after their pets to seek advice or support rather than abandon a"defenceless animal"."The poor animal was distressed when they arrived and our officer took it straight to the SSPCA at Cardonald where it will be looked after and receive a vet check.
