Anthony Benjamin, a 43-year-old music promoter from the Bronx, was arrested by police in Norwalk, Connecticut and charged with second-degree kidnapping with a firearm. However, the driver refused to take him to his car – instead taking the doctor to an ‘after hours party’ in Manhattan, local Connecticut publicationAccording to court documents, the driver then demanded money from the doctor, and threatened him when he refused to pay. The doctor ended up paying him $1,000 from an ATM., forcing him to pay for new clothes, shoes, a haircut, and even a trip to a strip club.
When the doctor arrived at the hospital, he immediately told hospital security about the kidnapping, who locked the hospital down while waiting for police to arrive.
