DOCTOR Who favourite David Tennant made a sensational return to the show tonight - after outgoing time lord Jodie Whittaker regenerated “backwards.”Jodie Whittaker has taken her final bow as The DoctorNext year David, 51, is expected to front a series of special episodes alongside former companion Catherine Tate, 52, to mark the 60th anniversary of the show.
A TV insider said: "The episode whipped fans of Doctor Who into a complete frenzy because they won't have seen an episode featuring so many time lords in one place. "The path to Ncuti’s Fifteenth Doctor is laden with mystery, horror, robots, puppets, danger and fun! And how is it connected to the return of the wonderful Donna Noble? How, what, why?
