Lyndsey Thompson was told to prepare for the worst after Cocker Spaniel Maisie was bitten by the adder
The owner of a dog whose pet survived being bitten by an adder at a Scots beauty spot has issued life-saving advice.
Lyndsey, from Aberdeen, had read about another Cocker Spaniel, named Ollie, who died recently in Angus after being bitten by a snake - and she knew she had to get Maisie medical attention fast. "It is essential to have an emergency vet number saved in your phone and act fast if you think your pet has been bitten. It will save their life."
