Dog exclusion zones have come into force
across an entire Nottinghamshire borough including in children's play areas and skate parks. Dog walkers who do not carry waste bags while walking their pet also face being fined under new rules.
While some residents told Nottinghamshire Live the £100 fine for failing to carry waste bags is "unnecessary", consultations took place last year involving town and parish councils and residents and these received more than 700 responses that overwhelmingly supported the additional PSPO rules, according to the council.
