Dogs left in dark, dirty conditions with no food or water when breeder left country
A dog breeder who left her dogs in dark, dirty conditions without food or water has had her animals seized and faces a potential prosecution.
The dogs were being housed in a stable block behind a semi-detached house and belonged to Emily Sutcliffe, who was licensed to breed dogs but only permitted to keep five adults rather than the 16 found. Officers visited on June 7 in response to a call by a member of the public and the breaches of the licence were so severe that the animals were taken into care.Once inside, officers found 15 dogs of various breeds with no light, no water, no food, and heavily soiled bedding in one stable block.
