Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the Strictly Come Dancing star, 45, and DOI pro, 25, confirmed the exciting news as they shared several snaps from the ice.
While Brendan reposted the images to his own account as he shared Vanessa's message to his 86.3K followers. Brendan added in a separate clip: "And there she is... it's Vanessa Bauer. I am so excited to be partnered with her, very, very lucky. She's an incredible skater, I've loved watching her on the show over the years and I'm ecstatic. Watch this space, people!"
