The suspects allegedly dismembered the men's bodies, set them on fire and threw them in a ditch, say police.
Two brothers have admitted killing British journalist Dom Phillips and his companion Bruno Pereira in the Amazon rainforest, it has been reported.on a remote stretch of the Itaquai River.
Band News said on Wednesday Amarildo da Costa de Oliveira and his brother Oseney da Costa de Oliveira have admitted they killed them. Band has also reported federal police said the suspects allegedly dismembered the bodies, set them on fire and threw them in a ditch.Mr Phillips, 57, and Mr Pereira, 41, were last seen on 5 June near the entrance of the Javari Valley Indigenous Territory, which borders Peru and Colombia.
