Day two saw the 2023 festival ramp up as the silent discos were replaced by bombastic set pieces. The site had a faster, more hectic energy.

This gave me a bit of Scouse pride. To know what started out as a nightclub on Speke has grown into one of the UK’s biggest festivals is pretty special.
