Drew Barrymore Plans To Resume Talk Show Amid Strikes

Live tapings for The Drew Barrymore Show began on Sept. 11—despite the active picket line outside the building

Barrymore’s decision was especially surprising to many in the entertainment industry given that she had previouslyhosting the annual MTV Movie & TV Awards in May in solidarity with the writers’ strike.

By resuming the talk show, Barrymore could, however, avoid defying the simultaneous SAG-AFTRA strike.
