Ashley Dean had drunk six pints and snorted a line of cocaine before crashing.
A drink driver left his friend on the road to die so he could get rid of three bags of cocaine after he crashed his van.
Dean pleaded with officers, "at least tell me she is alive" on CCTV footage at the scene when he was taking a breathalyser test in the back of a police van. Lisa was already at the pub with her mate Danielle Eastwood. They planned to stay until 7pm but Lisa rang her parents and asked them to put her kids to bed, so they could stay out a bit longer. Witnesses said Dean was "drunk, intoxicated and giddy". As Danielle left the pub at 8pm, she warned Lisa: "Don't get in the van with him if he drives."
