The man also narrowly missed being hit by another vehicle.
The 40-year-old man was cycling along Greenock Road in Paisley on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 7 when a white van pulled up alongside him.Later, the cyclist was approaching a bus stop further along the road when the white van drove into him, causing him to fall off his bike.Officers are now investigating the incident which they say could have been much worse.
Constable Paton said: “The cyclist was uninjured but was narrowly missed by another passing vehicle so this incident could have been far more serious. “We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and in particular the driver of this passing vehicle, which was red in colour. “Anyone with information can call 101, quoting 2492 of September 7, 2022, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
