Connor Harris was spared an immediate prison sentence after court heard he had 'mended his ways'
A drug dealer who had £4,000 of cannabis, along with cannabis based snacks, has been spared jail after a court heard he had 'mended his ways'.
Officers searched his home in St David's Road South and found 428g of cannabis, along with edibles including THC fudge and cookies. The drugs were later valued at between £2,460 and £4,810, with the edibles estimated to be worth £500.Harris' phones were analysed and text messages revealed he had been involved in street dealing for around a month.
Recorder Michelle Brown, sentencing, said: "You played a significant role in street dealing. You are still a very young man. You have no previous convictions and haven't been before the court before. You were smoking cannabis, became addicted and like a lot of young men in your position sadly started dealing to fund your use.
