The UK release date of EA Sports FC 24 has finally been confirmed Curiously
This is EA Sports’ first football game following its split from FIFA, football’s governing body. The FIFA games have dominated football video games over the last decade, but the two parties decided to part ways after negotiations for a new deal broke down last year.
Gamers got their first glimpse of the new title earlier this week with the release of the ‘Announce’ trailer. In this, the tagline of the new game was revealed as “Welcome to the Club.”Many speculated that an official release date may be confirmed soon with the gameplay trailer dropping today and a supposed leak last week. Now, it has been confirmed the game will be released on Friday September 29 and is available to pre-order now.
This is one day earlier than the FIFA 23 release, with EA following the release pattern of past FIFA titles. The September 29 release date was reportedly leaked last week, but EA did not confirm at the time whether this was correct. FIFA has announced its intention to compete with EA and release its own football video game, but it may not be seen for some time. Head of FIFA Gianni Infantino said in March there would be news about this title imminently.
He said: "The new FIFA game - the FIFA 25, 26, 27 and so on - will always be the best egame for any girl or boy, we will have news on this very soon."
