A pedestrian has died after being involved in a road traffic accident on the Newtownards Road in east Belfast on Friday morning
A section of the Newtownards Road was closed for a number of hours after the fatal incidentThe pedestrian was hit while walking on the Newtownards Road on Friday morning.The road was shut for hours between Templemore Avenue and Albertbridge Road, but has now reopened.
Police have appealed to witnesses or anyone who may have captured footage of the collision to contact them.
