EastEnders fans have accused the show of turning into a sci-fi series, with recent episodes containing flashbacks and flashforwards.
A flashback in Tuesday night's episode revealed that Cindy had previously secretly returned to Walford following the death of her daughter Lucy, before being warned away by the police. "The fact that Lucy’s death literally relates to every single plot on that square.. I need a what if episode if she didn’t die" tweeted another.
