EastEnders legend Cindy Beale finally returned to Walford tonight, and almost instantly she got into a slanging match with Kathy Beale as the pair clashed once again
Cindy Beale has returned to EastEnders with a bang, as she clashed with Kathy Beale almost instantly in explosive scenes that aired on Monday night.
Once she had done that, it was time to speak to her long-term enemy Kathy, who had just returned from her honeymoon. The exchange continued to get heated as Kathy pushed Cindy over, but as she fell, she smashed a picture of Lucy, ending the argument. This viewer said: "Kathy and Cindy’s slapping each other is as camp and iconic as Pat and Peggy," while another tweeted: "Kathy's one liners in that showdown with Cindy were ICONIC!!! #EastEnders."As the episode continued, Kathy reluctantly agreed to let Cindy help her as she needed to get the food prepared for Anna Knight's 21st birthday.
Once Kathy and Cindy had finished the food, Peter arrived looking to make things up with his nan, leaving Cindy to take the buffet over to the pub.
