In an effort to uncover Janine’s scheming, Shirley secretly caught her chatting to a mystery man named Steve during a phone call, and went on to investigate further straight afterwards.One person tweeted: “Steve has to be the designer of Janine’s wedding dress." Actress Charlie, 41, who portrays Janine, has been confirmed to be leaving EastEnders, along with Danny, over the Christmas period.
