EastEnders Tanya Franks' life off-screen as she finds love with Barbara Windsor's widower
EastEnders star Tanya Franks has found love with the late Dame Barbara Windsor's husband, Scott Mitchell.Scott, the widower of the late Peggy Mitchell actress, is believed to be "truly happy" despite previously fearing he might "never find another".
As Tanya and Scott make their relationship official we take a look at the EastEnders star life off screen...James, 54, starred in The Bill as several different characters and also appeared in EastEnders as Jonathan Malnet in 2015. "I had friends who were giving up alcohol and I didn’t want to drink when I was with them. And I’d started feeling lethargic on long days filming, and wondered if it was something I was eating. So I gave up lots of things. I’ve never looked back," she shared.
Tanya occasionally shares updates with her 51.9K followers on Instagram, having most recently taken part in the London marathon alongside EastEnders co-stars and now partner Scott in memory of the late Barbara. She had storylines including a cancer scare, infertility, surrogacy, and a child custody battle – much similar to her role as Rainie on EastEnders where she has been battling the Beale family for custody of Abi Branning.
