The easyJet plane from Turkey to Liverpool was forced to make an emergency landing in Venice
An easyJet flight heading to the North West was forced to make an emergency landing after a woman reportedly 'hit a man over the head with a carrier bag', according to passengers onboard.

He said the woman 'should never have been allowed on the plane'. "We were at the front of the plane and they were at the back and the cabin crew had to keep coming to speak to them. It was just general disruption, shouting, swearing and drinking.
"The woman started shouting, there was a man who must have been travelling with her and was trying to plead his innocence saying it was all her and not him. She hit him over the head with a carrier bag, I don't know if anything was in it.
