Travel disruption is expected in France due to national strike action
Brits heading to France in the coming days have been warned of “delays and disruption” to flights due to national strike action. EasyJet has issued a warning to passengers travelling to and from French airports between Thursday October 12 and Saturday October 14.
EasyJet is urging passengers to check the status of their flight and to allow extra time for travel to airports in France. In a statement on its website, easyJet said: “We have been advised of a national strike in France starting 18:00 local time on Thursday 12th October to 06:00 Saturday 14th October.READ MORE: Manchester Airport third worst in the UK for lost luggage
“Please also be aware that public transport services may be affected by the strike. We recommend all customers allow plenty of extra time to get to the airport and consider alternative transport options where possible.
