The Queen's youngest son and his wife are the latest members of the Royal Family to share their thoughts on the monarch, who died on 8 September at the age of 96.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex have paid tribute to the Queen, saying there's an"unimaginable void in all our lives".In a statement, Edward, the Queen's youngest son, and his wife Sophie said they have been"overwhelmed by the tide of emotion" after the monarch's death, adding:"Thank you for your support, you have no idea how much it means".

"Given that my mama let us spend so much time with her, I think she also rather enjoyed watching those passions blossom. "Those times together, those happy memories, have now become massively precious to each and every one of us."
