An Egyptian toyboy who made headlines after marrying an 83-year-old British pensioner has broken his silence after she dumped him for a cat.

The pair's unexpected fairytale has since come to an end with Iris revealing that she has now moved on - with her cat. The split comes after Mohammed secures a visa to stay in the UK, the Daily Star reports.He has been silent since news of the couple's split became public knowledge but he has now broken his silence with a cryptic post on Facebook.

Speaking last month about her romance with Mohammed, Iris told Closer magazine she "never expected to fall in love with someone 46 years younger than me".
