Officers swooped on 20 addresses in Rochdale
Police say they have arrested eight of their 'most wanted' criminals after a day of raids in Rochdale. Officers today executed warrants at 20 addresses in the borough.
Their aim was to 'locate and detain people who have not been complying with conditions imposed upon them due to their involvement in ongoing court trials or early release from prison on licence' Greater Manchester Police said. Eight people who were wanted in connecton with breaches of their bail conditions, and on recall to prison, and who have been described as some of the borough's 'most wanted', were arrested, the force said.However, one force chief it was important they sent a message that bail conditions had to be adhered to.
