Our fab LoveIsland columnist Shaughna_P has given her predictions ahead of the final
Hi everyone it’s Shaughna Phillips here with my penultimate Love Island column of the series. I can’t believe it’s the final on Monday 1 August – it’s gone so fast!
The thing is, I get how the show can edit people and make a storyline, but in the same sense, they can’t edit you to say things that you haven’t said. We do only see an hour of the show, and even when I was in there, I remember coming out and thinking, “That didn’t happen like that!” The Meet the Parents episode will be coming up soon. I think we are all hoping that Gemma’s mum will say something to Luca. But I’ve been told that actually, they’re not allowed to say certain things, so I doubt we’ll get the drama we want. But I genuinely believe that if Gemma’s mum told her she didn’t want her to be with Luca, then she wouldn’t be with him.
