Errol Dixon, 71, after contact with police
The pensioner was held around the neck and brutally punched in the face by one officer which left him suffering with a broken nose, displaced septum and fractured cheekbone and eye socket. However, the high court agreed with Mr Dixon’s case and a new-decision maker will be brought in to handle the case.
“I think a lot of black people who have grown up in this country have always had a problem with police. “I wasn’t expecting to be beaten up by police at my age. I did nothing wrong to get beat up. I’ve not been charged with anything.”
