Elderly dog whose owner fell ill desperate for home to avoid second Christmas in kennels
An elderly dog whose owner was no longer able to care for him has found himself in rescue waiting to find someone who can. Rascal has been a resident at Dogs Trust Manchester since November 2021, and would like to find a home before having to spend his second Christmas in kennels.
Despite being an older gent, fun-loving Rascal still likes to be active, loves a game of fetch, and adores splashing around in paddling pools on warm days.This adventurer loves the great outdoors and enjoys quiet walks away from other dogs so he can enjoy all the sights and sounds to himself. “He is very friendly with people and likes to say hello to everyone he meets. He has recently been enjoying spending time in the offices at the rehoming centre which is helping to boost morale.”
