An 83 year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene in the Govanhill area after firefighters battled the blaze.
An investigation carried out by Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service deems the fire as not suspicious.Sadly, an 83 year-old woman was found dead inside the property and no further casualties have been reported.
