Elite season 6 air date and major cast exits revealed by Netflix
A body bag was never shown in the finale, which led to some fans holding out hope that Samuel could pull through and return for the new season.However, the synopsis for season 6 has sadly dashed those hopes for good.
"After Samuel's death, Las Encinas faces a new school year trying to have a facelift by covering up disasters of the past," reads the official synopsis. "However, the conflict in its classrooms is systemic: racism, sexism, domestic abuse or LGTBI-phobia are just a few of the difficult issues that will run through the hallways of the prestigious institution this season. If those who run the system do not actively take action to address these issues, it will have to be the students themselves who do so."Long-running characters Omar , Rebeka and Cayetana are also absent from the show's new trailer.
However, André Lamoglia , Valentina Zenere , Carla Díaz , Martina Cariddi , Adam Nourou and Manu Ríos are all returning for the new season.A host of brand new faces will also be making an appearance. The returning stars will be joined by Ander Puig, Carmen Arrufat, Álvaro de Juana, Ana Bokesa and Álex Pastrana.
