Meghan Markle has described the moment she met Prince Harry as a "plot twist" in the first episode of her and Harry's bombshell documentary series. The show, entitled 'Harry and Meghan', dropped on Netflix at 8am today.
The Sussexes first met in July 2016, over Instagram. In the documentary, Meghan told cameras that there had just been another series of her hit show Suits and she was "single for a couple of months".With some free time on her hands and no relationship, Meghan decided to go travelling around Europe with some of her girlfriends. She said she had thought: "This is it, I'm going to travel. Come on girls, let's go.
"I was really intent on being single and just have fun girl time", Meghan said. "I had a career, I had my life, I had my path...and then came H. I mean he literally....talk about a plot twist," she added, smiling. He said: "I was scrolling through my feed and someone who was a friend had this video of the two of them, like a Snapchat with doggy ears...that was the first thing [he saw]. I was like 'who is that?'". Embarrassed, Meghan said it was "ridiculous" because it was a photo of her using the dog filter - with big ears and her tongue out.
