Confusion as emergency alert happens on some phones - but not others with one network particularly affected
Mobile phone owners have been left confused as the emergency alert - which was scheduled to hit the nation's devices at 3pm - sounds on some phones but not others.
But many people took to social media to voice their concerns that some phones in their homes sounded, while others did not. Many customers of the mobile network Three have particularly complained of not getting an alarm, with hundreds of social media users sharing their lack of emergency notification.Multiple phones owned by Manchester Evening News reporters on the Three network did not sound. Paul Gallagher told the M.E.N.
