The closure will be in place until Monday
Cumbernauld Road’s northbound carriageway is expected to be shut until Monday, July 10, while Scottish Water carries out necessary works between Gough Street and Lomax Street.that the water company warned customers about a burst pipe on the road yesterday at around 11am.
However, since then they have also recently advised that a second fault has been identified on the same street this morning. Engineers are currently on-site and working to fix the problem, but it is understood in the meantime, some residents may be left without running water.
