Emile Heskey has called for Liverpool to move on with their season instead of searching for a replay against Tottenham Hotspur following the week's VAR controversy.
Instead they finished the day in fourth place, overtaken by Spurs and Arsenal as the former inflicted a 2-1 defeat on Jurgen Klopp's men after VAR incorrectly disallowed a Luis Diaz goal. It would have put the visitors ahead with little under an hour remaining following Curtis Jones' red card. "VAR is there to bring things to your attention, but human error remains. The officials said it was a goal, but for some reason, the communication didn't filter through properly - at least to my understanding. It was a human error, but I don't see the game being replayed, as frustrating as the decision was."
