Emma Willis in tears as she admits she 'kicked herself' over Matt's 2016 relapse FightingAddiction
TV presenter Emma Willis fought back tears on Wednesday evening, as she emotionally admitted she "kicked herself" for failing to recognise the warning signs ahead of husband Matt Willis' 2016 addiction relapse.
Sadly however, in 2016, Matt suffered a massive relapse and began using again while Busted were performing in their reunion tour. Looking back on the experience, Emma admitted that she blamed herself for not having seen the warning signs sooner. She then continued: “I think because he’d done so well for such a long time, it was the last thing I thought. I didn’t think it would get him again.”
The emotional admission gave a huge insight into life alongside someone that suffers from addiction, with Emma also confessing in the documentary that “living with someone with addiction is unpredictable and anxiety inducing.”
