Emmerdale’s Mary Goskirk was brutally attacked on Tuesday’s episode of the ITV soap, when her sham romance with grifter Faye was finally unearthed by the lovelorn pensioner.
Yet in devastating scenes on Tuesday, the romance was finally discovered to be a lie, when Mary was confronted by the reality that her new girlfriend had swindled her out of thousands of pounds. As things came to a head, a tussle took place, with Faye shoving Mary to the ground with such force that she smacked her head on the ground, and was left unconscious.
