Emmerdale fans were quick to point out pregnant teenager Amelia Spencer's blunder during the ITV soap's 50th anniversary on Sunday as she was left trapped alone in dramatic labour scenes.
Dan panicked when he got the call and his worry increased when Amelia's phone died before she could tell him exactly where she was. Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Surely if you’re planning a picnic you check the weather first #Emmerdale". "She ends up taking a short cut and she gets shifted by a strong gale of wind. She slightly falls but is not hurt but she then starts to feel her first contraction. There’s a lot of wind going on and heading towards the village is a very bad storm."
