Viewers were shocked in tonight's episode
Friday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore Wendy Posner and Bob Hope's rollercoaster romance. The couple were rocked earlier this year when Wendy started having an affair with Dr Liam Cavanagh.
The nurse bonded with Dr Cavanagh over a shared love of reading before they took their relationship to the next level. Bob was also experiencing doubts with his relationship and it seemed he was going to have an affair with Bernice - but he decided to remain faithful.The character, played by Tony Audenshaw, was distraught when he rumbled Wendy's affair with Dr Cavanagh and decided to end their relationship.
Bob staged a romantic surprise for Wendy in the latest episode as they aimed to get their relationship back on track. However, his plans were rocked when twins, Cathy and Heath, returned home.
