Shortly after exiting Emmerdale in November 2021, actor Alexander Lincoln starred in the LGBTQ+ film In From the Side, which raised questions about his sexuality
Former Emmerdale star Alexander Lincoln has admitted that the reaction to his sexuality took him by surprise.
However, in the comments section, he was asked if he was a straight man playing a gay character, to which he replied and confirmed that he was "not straight". "You say something in passing. I don't like to be mysterious and vague about things. I don't like to make people think I'm presenting myself in a way I shouldn't be. So I felt this obligation to say something about it. Which I don't regret. But [suddenly] it's everywhere."
Alex was previously rumoured to be dating Shar Holliday, as the pair had taken trips to the Lake District and Croatia together.
