Dan faces a future behind bars as he’s charged with GBH and Emmerdale actress Daisy Campbell says it’s been tough filming recent scenes with on-screen dad Liam Fox
Amelia Spencer has been through a lot in her 12-years in Emmerdale from discovering her biological dad was Daz, not Dan, losing her mum, struggling with an eating disorder, and becoming a teenage mum to baby Esther last year.
“Amelia’s confused,” says Daisy when talking about Dan and Lloyd’s confrontation. “The situation isn’t what Dan makes it out to be, but obviously she doesn’t really see him before it all happens. “Amelia is one of those people who’s quite stubborn so she goes through things and puts it to the back of her mind,” says Daisy. “She’s forgotten what happened to her last year and she’s not taken into consideration how scary the situation is. Maybe as time goes on she probably will see the dangers of what social media can cause.”
